Oh, We're Movin' On Up

We did something yesterday that I thought I would never do. We agreed to buy a mobile home. It just so happens that the mobile home is situated on 3 acres not half a mile from grandma and grandpa's house up by Tallula. So, the mobile home wasn't really the target, just part of the deal. Here's the property...
The red box is our ground. The legal description says it's about 813' x 164'. The broken blue line is a creek running through it. This is a closeup of the front part...
The trailer is 16' x 73' and is in very good condition. In fact, we plan on selling our house within the next 6 months and living in the trailer for a year or 2 before building a house. We're planning on putting the house right about where the small barn sits now. The larger shed is in pretty good shape, but it isn't the prettiest. It does have a lot of space, a concrete floor, and even an auto maintenance pit in the floor too. We took some pics while we were there looking the place over.

Last Week in Pictures

We went to Aunt Shauna's up in Iowa last weekend for her graduation. We had a good time and they actually let Shauna graduate. I got some good pictures too. Since they're a week late and it's late, I'm going to post them with minimal narration...
It wasn't until we got home that I realized that 90% of the pictures on the camera featured Nathan. Oh well, I'm sure no one will complain. Once home, Olivia's flowers were in full bloom. Of course, Nathan had to inspect them.

Captain Cuffs

Can you guess who's reading a romance novel and who's reading "Captain Cuffs on Patrol"?

There's no real blog-worthy news to report this week, only a couple cute pics of the boy. He fell asleep on his old man Saturday morning, so I watched Escape From Alcatraz on AMC while serving as a toddler bed. After he woke up, his mother threw Aunt Shauna's Elmer Fudd hat on him. He actually left it on long enough to get his picture taken.
It's still a little big, but it fits better than it did the last time we stuck it on him... It's hard to believe he was ever that small.

One last thing. I saw this on TV last night. It's probably more funny now that Nate doesn't do this much anymore...
